About UsMari Ane Anderson, Co-Founder Mari Ane Anderson is an Acupuncturist, specializing in Five Element and Alchemical Acupuncture. Ms. Anderson attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and went on to further her degree at the Worsley Institute for Classical Acupuncture, Lemington Spa, England. She has trained and worked closely with Dr. J.R. Worsley, founder of the Worsley Institute, Mari Ane Anderson is licensed by the Board of Medical Examiners in the state of Oregon Her philosophy is simple yet powerful. Mari Ane believes acupuncture is a tool, and like all tools, it is only as effective as the people working with it. The Practitioner and Patient are working together to build a relationship in which a new experience of living in health and well being can thrive. She encourages each client to take an active part in their health and wellness by creating an environment in which they can connect with their own natural power to find balance. She believes each client holds the key to their own wellness and utilizes acupuncture and other ancient healing methods to support them. This philosophy and approach to healing has allowed Ms. Anderson to witness hundreds of people make transformational changes in their lives on every level. Mari Ane is currently available for individual treatment sessions and can also be found partnering with other practitioners in clinics and workshops, and teaching the art and power of her own relationship to acupuncture to individuals and groups. Pamela Monroe, Co-Founder Pamela Monroe is a licensed Massage Practitioner, Ayurvedic Therapist and instructor specializing in integrative, deep tissue, neuromuscular massage, Cranial Sacral and Ayurvedic therapies. Ms. Monroe is a life-long learner and educator having graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in Boulder with a focus in integrative, deep tissue, and neuromuscular massage and Cranial Sacral therapies. She has also been trained in the "Five Senses Marma Therapy" developed by John Douillard at Deepak Chopra's Ayurvedic Center; studied with Dr. MaryJo Cravatta, D.C. and Ayurvedic Physician; studied pulse diagnosis with John Douillard and Dr. Cravatta; and served as the head therapist and trainer at John Douillard’s Life Spa from 1995-1999. Ms. Monroe has been teaching both nationally and internationally for over 15 years. She is the original developer of “Spirit Marma Massage and has written articles on this for Massage Magazine. She was also featured in an international film about alternative medicine produced by Createavision describing how her interest in Ayurveda began with a profound personal experience and showing the actual therapy.
