Chicago - August 31, 2023 - The team at Imagine Healthcare is gearing up for a much-anticipated event. The only female-owned and operated ketamine clinic in downtown Chicago will again add its name to the list of dedicated sponsors for one of the Illinois Psychedelic Society’s community-building, educational events. This one is bound to be epic!

On September 30th from 9am-6pm at Conviser Law Center, IPS will proudly present the first Illinois Psychedelic Symposium - the state’s largest psychedelic event in recent history. The symposium is the organization's flagship event and will feature speakers from various backgrounds, including scientists, medical professionals, and people with personal experience with psychedelics. The event will also include workshops, panel discussions, and opportunities for networking and community building.

Dr. Rachel Norris, founder of Imagine Healthcare, said about the upcoming symposium, “The momentum is growing, and the anticipation is palpable. With each IPS event, the community grows, which is so wonderful to see. Just five years ago, you really had to search to ‘find the others.’ Not anymore! Now, we gather openly and discuss, educate, and get educated. There is simply no other community quite like this one and I love being a part of it. We stand together as a diverse group of individuals from all different walks of life and backgrounds with a common goal - to advocate for safe, effective tools that can, quite literally, save lives.”

The Illinois Psychedelic Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to education, advocacy, and community building around psychedelic substances. The organization's mission is to reduce the harms associated with psychedelic use and to increase the benefits. Dr. Norris is an inaugural board member of IPS, and the symposium will be the third event that Imagine Healthcare has co-sponsored this year.
